How To Remove Programs Not Needed When Windows Start-Up

How do I remove the program at startup?

All programs can be selected to run automatically at Windows startup. Some freeware and commercial software has its own habits, that is run automatically at Windows startup, such as some types of spyware programs, viruses, or trojan from the internet will be installed automatically on the system, then active when Windows is loading the start-ups. This causes slow loading Windows to go to the desktop. You can select the programs needed to run at startup and disable unneeded programs. The steps to set the startup program as follows:
  1. Click Start>> All Programs >> Startup
  2. Next, delete unneeded programs at startup

A slightly different way to remove unneeded files at startup as follows:
  1. Open windows explorer and go to the directory
    C: \ Documents and Settings \ [User / All Users] \ Start Menu \ Programs \ Startup
  2. Remove the program or shortcut that is not needed.

If you delete a shortcut by way of the above, the application will not run again at startup.
For the record, that directory can also be a spyware or virus. So when you find the program file (not the shortcut) in this directory, usually files the program is spyware or a virus. Remove all program files are not created shortcuts in anticipation of virus and spyware attacks.
Other alternatives can be done by using the MSCONFIG utility:
1. Click Start >> Run
2. Type MSCONFIG and press Enter or OK, the program will display the Window [System Configuration]
3. Select the Startup tabs.
4. Select the program you do not want on startup checklist by eliminating the check-box.
5. Then, choose Apply. Next, a dialog box will appear that confirms to restart the computer.
6. Restart your computer. Feel the difference of the changes that have been made.

Several application programs running automatically. You must be smart to choose what programs to run automatically or be disabled at startup. Some viruses and spyware, such as Win32.spybot.worm display a screen-shot as MSCONFIG32.EXE. Instead, delete the file because it is a spyware resource. Examples of application programs that are not needed at startup is Massanger MSN, Yahoo Massanger, or other programs.
