How to Disable Service Not Required ???
Windows XP is capable of running numerous services at a time. Actually, some services are not needed by the computer to be operated on a regular basis, it all depends on your needs. Everyone needs different services, depending on the purposes and objectives of its users. To set the service as follows:
- Right-click My Computer>> Manage.
- Computer Management window appears, point the cursor to the Service and Application. Then select the Services to display all the services available.
- Labels Started in the Status column indicates that the program is running. Automatic label on the Start Type column indicates that the service runs automatically every time when the operation system is running.
- You can see a description of each service to make a decision whether the service is needed or not, to highlight each service, then right click and select Properties.
- To stop the service, right-click the service and select Properties. Then, click Stop while in the Start Up Type was changed to Disable.
- Click OK
- Restart your computer.
