Microsoft introduced How to capture images from video using Windows Media Player
Make friends who often watch the video, you may have often capture (screenshot / snapshot), or take pictures of the video being played by media player on your computer. One of the video capture software is Windows Media Player Classic. This post complements my previous post on how to capture video in Power DVD
Note:
Windows media player classic is a little different with Windows Media Player the default Windows XP. the difference is WMP Classic is equipped with a codec that is more complete, so it recognizes more video and audio formats.
To download Windows media player classic, you can download the klite codec (free). When installing codecs windows media player will automatically be installed as well.
After installing these kodec. Open the windows media player classic
1. Plih View -> Options
2.Select Output
-Select Haali renderer
-Click OK
3. Open the video / movie to be captured
4. Plih File -> Save Image, or directly press the Alt + I (on keyboard)
notes:
Click Save
notes:
If when saving the image (video recording), the picture is blank (no image appears), try clicking the pause button, located beside the play button. then repeat step 4.
The above case usually occurs if your computer is less powerful vga render the video.
